We are beibeicustompet — a pet family memorial studio founded in 2017, based in China and serving families around the world.

For over 8 years, we have created thousands of custom memorial pieces for families across more than 20 countries and regions.

There is no roar of assembly lines here. What surrounds us instead are the soft sounds of scissors moving through wool, the quiet marks left by carving tools on vegetable-tanned leather, and the gentle rhythm of time flowing through handmade work.

We do not pursue industrial “perfect uniformity.” We focus on one thing only: capturing the unique memories of love and companionship behind every life.

Our Beginning: Born from a Real Loss

The creation of beibeicustompet did not begin with a business plan, but with a deeply personal experience.

After the founder lost his beloved pet Beibei to heart disease, he searched for a memorial piece that could truly hold that emotional bond — only to find that most products on the market relied on templates and fast replication.

They looked like memorials, but they could not tell the story of a single, irreplaceable life.

So, as an art student, he decided to make one by hand — to turn memory into something tangible, something that can be touched, accompanied, and gently held by time.

Our Philosophy: Handmade with Heart, Remembered Forever

We have always believed that remembrance is not about sealing away grief, but about allowing love to continue in another form. That is why we insist on fully handmade creation and reject mold-based or mass-produced replication.

Felt Artworks

Our felt pieces are created using traditional needle-felting techniques originating from northern ethnic minority regions of China, refined over years of practice with reference to animal anatomy and proportions.

We use premium Australian Merino wool, layering, sculpting, and repeatedly refining each piece to capture a pet’s unique expression and gaze. A complete three-dimensional felt sculpture typically requires 80,000–100,000 individual hand needle insertions, with production time varying depending on size and detail complexity.

Leather Carving

We use full vegetable-tanned leather that naturally ages over time. Each piece is hand-carved and hand-dyed. As the leather darkens and softens with use, it develops marks that belong only to its owner — growing with memory, just like remembrance itself.

Acrylic Carving & Painting

Through hand-layered carving and painting, we create depth, light, and spatial presence within crystal-clear acrylic, preserving a life’s image in a quiet, transparent medium.

From the very first conversation, we carefully confirm photos, personality traits, and the details that matter most to you. During the creation process, we communicate again whenever adjustments are needed, until the piece is complete.

What we deliver is not just an artwork, but an emotional connection that is understood, respected, and made tangible.

Our Promise: Trust Matters More Than the Artwork

• All works are 100% handmade custom artworks — no pre-made templates
• Design confirmation is required before production begins
• Once production starts, the piece cannot be resold or fully remade

Because each piece is entirely handmade, mechanical-level replication is neither possible nor our goal. Within a reasonable creative range, we typically achieve 85%–95% resemblance in appearance and expression, always prioritizing overall spirit and emotional presence.

If we find any significant deviation from the approved design during production, we will proactively adjust and refine the work until both sides reach mutual agreement.

We believe that clear and transparent boundaries are part of trust itself. Here, remembrance is not a heavy farewell, but a gentle echo of love — a Legacy of Love that time cannot take away.
